Commune of Buttons, Gloria Pinot Noir 2021

Commune of Buttons began with a single dream between brother and sister, Jasper & Sophie Button, to continue as second-generation growers of grapes, the custodians of a piece of land called ‘Fernglen' - 70 acres of bush paddocks and vineyards in the Adelaide Hills at Basket Range. Their dream was to return to the place they had grown up in, to come home to explore new imaginings and opportunities that the soil and sun could conjure. Gloria 2021 is 100% Pinot Noir taken from the 'Gloria' vineyard, a stunning east-facing site at 350m above sea level. The wine is bright, acid driven and red fruited with cherries and spice on the nose, it has a dark bramble core with a generous mid pallet from extended cold maceration and slow extraction of tannins. Burgundy in style, Aussie at heart.
